Preparations begin for the London Book Fair 2012

Here at Fast-Print, we love getting the chance to meet our authors face to face, getting to know them and giving advice – and we can’t think of a better place to do this than at the London Book Fair. Taking place on the 16-18th April at Earl’s Court, London, this year’s Book Fair will be bigger and better than ever, and we are pleased to announce that this year Fast-Print is the main sponsor of the Author Lounge. This will be a large space where authors can meet our team, mingle with other authors, and chill out while listening to our brilliant speaker sessions and learning how simple publishing a book can be.

The speaker sessions will focus on various aspects of the publishing process; with talks on how to market a book, e-Book publishing, and our designers will also be taking an interactive cover design session – creating a bespoke book cover and taking the audience through the process while they watch. We want authors to get a feel for what we do and the step by step process of publishing.  There will also be dedicated Advice Clinic sessions running, where authors can ask questions and get valuable guidance.

There are many reasons for authors to attend the book fair – not least the lectures, the professional advice and the host of opportunities for networking and making those all-important contacts.
