Submitting your manuscript

Ready to submit your work?

Congratulations - if you've followed the instructions on the previous pages, and you've succesfully created your manuscript, then you're ready to submit you work to us!

The easiest way to supply files to us is by using YouSendIt to transfer files to us via our address: info@fast-print.net Please ensure that you send us a seperate email or telephone one of our sales team on 01733 237867 before you submit your file - this is very important as we handle large volumes of files on a daily basis.

However, you can also submit your manuscript to us by post. Please ensure that you have downloaded and completed our postal submission form - available here as a PDF file.

Carefully package your manuscript and the completed submissions form. Ensure that you have supplied any photographs or digital camera images (for which you must have copyright) and detailed instructions regarding the book cover.

We strongly advise that you make a copy of your manuscript where possible, and send it by Recorded Delivery to the address to the right.

What happens next?

Upon receiving your manuscript, our sales team will assess the work required, and contact you promptly regarding delivery details, payment terms and any queries our design studio may have.

We aim to turn around initial proof copies within 5-10 working days, these are despatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery and when you receive your hard copy proofs, you must carefully check both the text and cover.

Each proof comes with a proof approval form, which you must use to mark any changes or instruct Fast Print to proceed - no work can commence until we receive a copy of this form signed by you.

Please note that for extensive changes to the text file you may be charged our hourly rate for studio time.

When your book has been signed off, it enters into a production schedule for printing. You should receive you books via dedicated courier approximately 10-15 days after we receive the signed proof approval form, however this can vary during periods of heavy traffic from this website.
